Request to Reconsider Committee Decision
.

To err is human, to really foul things up takes a committee (with apologies to Alexander Pope)
At the last committee meeting it was decided that the club needs a formal method for members to ask the committee to reconsider a decision. Currently, members can ask a the committee to put something on the agenda and they can call for an EGM if there is something they particularly want addressed. There is nothing in between. This is meant to be that something in between.

The committee tries its collective best to make decisions in the interests of the club and all its members. But it is composed of humans and as such we are all able to make mistakes. With that in mind, the committee requests that, if you disagree with one or more of its decisions you let us know.

When I was looking for the original quote "To err is human, to forgive is divine" I came across a quote by the same author which I think is even more appropriate:
"A man should never be ashamed to own he has been wrong, which is but saying, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday."

If you want to give us the opportunity to admit that we can be wiser today than we were yesterday, here is the form. It's in two formats:
pdf if you just want to print it out, write on it and hand it or post it to the committee.
Microsoft Word (doc) if you want to type it up and email it (of course you can still print it and hand or post it to the committee).
email it to the secretary, the email address is in the "Contacts" section of the home page.

Don't forget you can always raise issues with the committee by asking a committee member to add it to the agenda for the next meeting or by sending an email (or even a letter) to the club secretary.
